Things looking up for fun cars in the North America?

Ok, it's waay too soon to speculate because so much will change, but there is a change that Fiat will bring the Fiat 500 to North America once the dust settled on the Chrysler deal. 

If you don't know, the Fiat 500 is one of the coolest small cars out there today, a much slicker competitor to the rather dated-looking (new) Mini Cooper. Should it grace North American roads, it will certainly liven up super-mini scenery. 

And in, oh I don't know, 10 years or so, used Fiat 500's might actually be priced right for the fun cheap car lover...until then, we drool.
